"Pamper Me Day " November 12, 2010
Beauty for Ashes Ministry,Inc. provided a day of pampering for female survivors of domestic violence by offering them manicures, facials, chair massages, quiet reflection time, photos after their make-overs, spiritual encouragement through word and song from a survivor, a sit down dinner and gift bags to go.
While the ladies were being pampered their children were enjoying fun and games in another area.
A comment from one of our guests: "Some people say they care but you showed us that you do."
My heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, compassionate board of Beauty for Ashes Ministry, Inc. and the generous volunteers and supporters who made this day special for our guests of survivors- women and children. When one life is touched, our efforts are not in vain. To God be the glory.
